Hello Everybody,
Welcome to my Daylily Adventure! Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. It will be the place where I will be documenting what is for me, an exciting new adventure in my life! What began as purely a passion for, what was to me, a previously-little-known plant has developed into the inception of a business – an online daylily nursery – Daylily Adventure. This log will eventually be replaced by an e-commerce site where stock of the daylilies that I will be detailing over the coming months can be purchased. Giving purpose to my passion!
My interest in daylilies began some years ago when I purchased a bag of dormant daylilies: reason for the purchase – it had multiple shoots coming up! Had obviously been in the nursery for a season or two and I was going to get many plants for the price of one! I expected the common orange or yellow daylilies and was pleasantly suprised with tall, stately double and even ‘triple’ orange daylilies with red markings. Each bloom unique, they gave height, colour and interest every year without fail!
